Lead Data Architect (Snowflake)

As the Lead Information Architect, you will work alongside data and analytics leaders to empower our business with actionable insights derived from data. You will contribute to the operationalization of critical data and analytics initiatives for our client’s digital business initiatives, supporting data pipelines, finance transformation programs, and customer initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, develop, and maintain data architecture and standards for Data Integration projects.
- Ensure seamless integration of new features and subject areas with existing structures.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data integration patterns, data flows, data standards, and data architecture.
- Provide direction on adopting modern cloud technologies, especially Snowflake, and implementing industry best practices.
- Contribute to project deliverables related to architecture, security, and integration features.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deploy high-level design and architecture solutions, including class, sequence, and deployment infrastructure diagrams.
- Take ownership of technical solutions, gathering user requirements and producing comprehensive technical documentation.
- Review ongoing projects’ architectural and technological solutions, ensuring the selection of the most suitable options.
- Collaborate closely with IT Domain and Business units to capture requirements and propose optimal solutions.
- Design, implement, and document data architecture utilizing relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security requirements while operationalizing integrated data approaches.
- Establish architectural standards, guardrails, and best practices for Data Integration/Architecture.
Requirements:
- Confident, energetic self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Highly creative and collaborative, capable of refining and deploying data architectures in production environments.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation of Data Lake technologies, particularly Snowflake.
- Expertise in data modelling, ELT, and complex stored procedures.
- In-depth understanding of advanced Snowflake concepts and features (resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, etc.).
- Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS or SAP systems to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
- Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL data stores, dimensional modeling, and data security.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as SoX, GDPR, and Regulatory/CNI control environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data pipeline issues across infrastructure, platform, and application domains.
