So, what are we looking for in a Purchase Ledger Clerk? First and foremost, you’ll need to be highly organised and detail-oriented. You’ll have experience dealing with a high volume of invoices and queries and be able to work to tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. You’ll also need to be a proactive problem-solver, able to identify issues before they become problems.

In terms of qualifications, you’ll ideally be AAT qualified or working towards your qualification. You’ll also have experience using accounting software, such as Sage or Xero, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
