We are looking for an entry-level, part-time (20 hours per week) Backend Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of our web application using a range of JavaScript technologies. You will work closely with a frontend developer and the company director to deliver high-quality software that meets customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend of our web application using JavaScript
• Collaborate with team to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and frameworks relevant to our projects.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with server-side frameworks such as Node.js and Express.js.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
