As our Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be an integral part of our finance team, responsible for a range of duties including:

• End to end payroll: You will be responsible for processing payroll for our employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation. This will include calculating salaries, processing payments, P11ds, and reconciling payroll accounts.
• Balance sheet reconciliations: You will be responsible for ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a timely basis, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• VAT and Intrastat returns: You will be responsible for preparing and submitting VAT and Intrastat returns, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Reconciling PAYE and NIC payments: You will be responsible for reconciling PAYE and NIC payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Pension payments and contributions: You will be responsible for processing pension payments and contributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Cash flow analysis and reporting: You will be responsible for preparing cash flow analysis and reporting, providing insights into our cash position and identifying any areas for improvement.
• Reconciling inventory across all sites: You will be responsible for reconciling inventory across all of our sites, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies.
• Posting and reconciliation of expense payments and accruals: You will be responsible for posting and reconciling expense payments and accruals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant policies.
• Auditing: You will be responsible for assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

In addition to the above, you will need to have experience working with Navision, as this is the software we use for our financial reporting.
