We are looking for a Management Accountant for a manufacturing business in Coventry. As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions and drive growth.

We are looking for someone who is not just a number cruncher, but also a strategic thinker and a business partner. You will be working closely with non-finance stakeholders to understand their needs and provide financial insights to support their decision-making process. You will be the go-to person for financial advice and support, and you will be responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions
• Building strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts
• Preparing monthly management accounts and reports
• Identifying and implementing process improvements
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
• Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• To be working towards or qualified in a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing  environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, mainly using MS Excel 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• A proactive and results-driven approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A willingness to travel to client sites as required
