JOB TITLE: Finance Manager
SALARY: £45,000

We are on the hunt for a Finance Manager to join the International Freight Department. This is an opportunity to work within the largest British privately owned international freight and logistics company in the UK, and a chance to join a team of over 1,200 members of staff across the world.

As Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the site transactions and analysis, taking ownership of the local Profit and Loss accounts (P&L). You’ll be the go-to person for monthly Management Account reporting and delivering financial and statistical KPI data for the leadership team.
But this isn’t just about crunching numbers and following the rules. As a Finance Manager, you’ll be expected to use your skills and experience to identify areas of improvement, encouraging positive change and sharing best practice with those around you.

You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders across the site and wider organisation. And, of course, you’ll need advanced Excel skills and an eye for detail. Ideally, you’ll be studying towards or qualified with CIMA/ACCA.
You’ll also need to be a professional, enthusiastic, and helpful individual, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.
