We’re looking for a talented Senior Python/Django Developer to work for our client.
  
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of Python and the related Django framework, as well as restful APIs and/or graphql.

The Role:
In the Senior Python/Django Developer role you’ll be primarily responsible for building great products, whilst simultaneously supporting & guiding a team of junior to mid-level backend engineers.
  
You’ll report to the Head of Platform & Product Engineering and you’ll spend part of the working week in the company’s Central London office. For the rest of the week you will be working from home.
  
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Playing a crucial role in the backend engineering team, helping to build full-stack cloud apps
– Planning, building, testing and releasing new features and experiments
– Solving the challenges that come with large-scale systems and lots of data

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Python/Django Developer role will have relevant experience of Python and the related Django framework, as well as restful APIs and/or graphql.
  
You’ll also need experience of serverless computing such as Lambda and API gateway.
  
Plus, it’s vital that you’ve got experience of using version control tools e.g. Git.
  
In addition, you’ll need good understanding of development best practices such as pair programming, tdd etc and excellent software design, problem-solving skills, and debugging skills.

Basic salary:  £75,000 – £90,000 per annum
